The most current tax law will be incorporated with general definitions and understanding of various investments and what they are intended to do to. The information will help anyone to plan for retirement, college, and investing with some background as to what it will cost and what the individual will have to do.
A Seminar is general in nature, to give an oversight of types of investments and how they react to the stock market. The topic of "Derivatives" will be introduced and discussed since this is making up a growing percentage of the market and are being touted by brokerage houses as ways to increase your account balance dramatically. The downside is that you could lose your entire investment within 30-90 days! As with all investments, there is a good purpose to use derivatives, but it is important to be informed of the risks involved.
